My goal is simple: I try to make music or just plain sounds that provoke an emotion or create a certain atmosphere without thinking much about musical conventions. Sometimes relaxing, sometimes danceable... and sometimes just annoying.

Wouter and Thijs, friends and former colleagues, started producing tracks in 2007. Their common ground is a similar taste for experimental electronic music.

Long-distance IDM

StaticLED represents a collaboration between Einzelganger and Left Eye Dominant (John Morris).
Thijs is based in Holland and John in Italy. At first they communicated only via email only but in February 2007 they got together in Rome to record a few improvised tracks.
During 3 years StaticLED produced 5 finished tracks and another six unfinished tracks.
They haven't produced any tracks since but the project was never officially ended.

Dégénérés supérieurs is a medical term for people with great intelligence and mental capacity but with degenerated moral standards. You could say the medical term for the classic 'mad scientist'.

I removed "Bon Annee" from the gallery and replaced it with "Hulleman". This is an old drawing that was part of a film script I wrote and that was wisely rejected by the broadcasting company I sent it to.
